OUR PROGRAMS
Since Young Life of Canada began in 1954, staff and volunteers have stepped outside their comfort zones to meet teens where they are. You’ll find Young Life leaders wherever kids spend their time—cheering from the stands at a hockey game, supporting them at school activities, or hanging out at a local coffee shop or skate park.
Young Life communities are all about building meaningful relationships between leaders and teens, creating spaces where young people feel known, heard, and free to ask questions about life and faith.
Young Life
PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Young Life began with a focus on reaching high school students by stepping into their world and building genuine relationships.
Today, Young Life leaders continue to meet students where they are—learning their names, listening to their stories, having fun, and sharing the good news of a God who loves them.
WyldLife
PROGRAMS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS
In WyldLife, we love middle school students! They’re full of energy, curiosity, and excitement while also navigating lots of changes and discovering who they are.
WyldLife leaders come alongside them by learning their names, listening to their stories, and sharing in their everyday lives. Through friendship, fun, and adventure, leaders seek to show kids God’s love and encourage them to live with purpose.
Capernaum
PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Capernaum is Young Life’s ministry for teenagers and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While everyone is welcome at Young Life, Capernaum creates spaces where young people with disabilities can build friendships, have fun, and experience adventure together.
Through Club, camp, and other activities, Capernaum leaders come alongside young people, celebrate who they are, and encourage them to try new things, grow in confidence, and discover God’s love.
Skatelife
PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG SKATERS
Skatelife is all about building relationships with young skaters in their world. Leaders meet skaters where they’re at—hitting local spots, filming sessions, helping with competitions and events, and getting involved in whatever their crew is up to.
It’s about sharing the love of Jesus through genuine friendships, a shared passion for skating, and plenty of time together.
